Hi! To address your questions, because of the way the show is structured/written and distributed (i.e. as an entirely separate entity from MCU and Fox's X-Men films), we would consider this a separate canon from MCU.

We have previously allowed players to play both a Marvel Comics character and a MCU character at the same time. However, this will be approved on a case-by-case basis as outlined in this response.
